How to retrieve or set-up a new password for wireless conect

I recently had my computer cleaned and updated. when I tried to reset my wireless, I had forgotten the password that was used when I originally set up my connection.

You connect to your router via a cat-5/ethernet connection; go to the homepage (via an ip address) for the router. Navigate your way to to the wifi set up area; and also security. There you can find the SSID for your router (if you don't know it already) and also the "key" - the password.

If you need more help post back with the make/model of your router - and also (useful to have) the make/model of your computer.

You may also find the key/password on a sticker under the router; possibly in the box it came in (if you still have it) - or in the details it came with; and if you haven't ever changed that key then it would still be valid?
