Try this file for starters:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(blue download button near top).
You need to download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run the Scan. You then have options to remove whatever it shows in the table below, although it is usually safe to run the Clean.

Please copy/paste the log on here as more attention might be necessary.

Thank you for answering my query.. In the meantime I decided to go into my settings and fortunately found a way to restore my original google chrome desktop. All the same I'm extremely grateful for the help needed on occasions. I'm fine until things seem to go off course then I'm floundering! No need to tick best answer as I've solved the hitch myself this time...

That's fine but if in the near future you should get the feeling that things are not right then follow my #1 and pop back. I would be surprised if it doesn't find something so if you want to try it anyway be my guest.

I keep on getting emails to tick the best answer. Hence this reply. As I said there was no best answer as I solved it myself in a different way to the one answer from Derek but I am grateful for his input.

Glad to hear you solved the problem and thanks for letting us know.

When a poster solves his/her own problem mostly the moderators will eventually award Best Answer to the poster.

I'm not certain how many times you get those automated requests but I think they stop after a few emails. If they keep on pestering then send a Private Message to Justin Weber (observe initial capitals). He runs this website and should be able to stop them. If you are not sure where your Private Message Center is, this link should find it:
