Solved How to get my built in speakers to work?

April 15, 2013 at 15:10:05
Specs: Windows 8
I recorded myself on webcam and voice recorder but no sound comes out when I play it back. I turned it all the way up and made sure that it wasn't muted and tried again but still no sound. Then I tried leaning in closer to the speaker which left me only 2 inches away. When I went to play it back again, I heard my voice very low where I couldn't understand what I was saying but I did hear the high pitches in my voice. Any help in improving this? I would greatly appreciate it.

I asked others on help with this on yahoo but some said something about the sound card (?) and something else I didn't understand.

✔ Best Answer
You need to turn up the input volume of the recording device (microphone) in Windows sound settings.
