Hey Everyone,

I was just looking through Windows Disk Manager, as I'm planning on partitioning a new drive I got, and I just realized that it doesn't show you what the Block Size for each drive is. Do you guys know of any way to view what the block size for a hard drive is?

Thanks

Last time I partitioned a drive, I recall having it ask me about what block size to use. I believe the default was 4 KB, going up to about 32 KB.

Sorry, just realized Windows calls it the 'Allocation Unit Size'.
