You need to provide more info. What is the size of your hard drive & how is it partitioned? What makes you think a virus is to blame for taking up the drive space? Have you removed the virus? If not, that's where you have to start. I suggest you use a rescue disk to remove the infection without booting into Windows.

You shouldn't go around picking off files unless they are your own. If you do so you are asking for all sorts of problems. Viruses and malware can be dealt with by specialist programs, if necessary copied from another computer via a flash drive. Programs you don't require should be uninstalled from "Control Panel > Programs and Features". There are also ways to stop programs from starting every time.

As said, you need to explain more about your problem. We can't answer the exact question you pose because it is the wrong way to go about things. Can you get to Windows? If not tell exactly how far you can get.

The Kaspersky suggestion is a good start.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Most people would ask about removing the virus and worry about disk space later.

If you're getting the alert from AV software you've installed then it should be able to remove it also. If the alert is popping up and maybe wants you to go to a site to buy their fix it's probably a fake alert which usually is just annoying malware and easily removed with anti malware software.
