Which email package are you using; how do you access your emails?

Meanwhile... Presuming you can access and read the content OK..., simply highlight, select/copy the content to a Word document or other similar text application. Give a it a suitable name save it either to the desktop - better still to a specific folder... - and you're done.

Incidentally I wouldn't dump loads of email files (or otherwise) onto the desktop itself; rather create a folder within "MyDocuments folder" and store them all there.

The less you have on your desktop itself the better; less clutter and also doesn't use up RAM resources either... Although nowadays RAM aspect is likely less an issue than in the distant days of low/small RAM installations.
