How do I fix the sound on my Asus Transformer?

November 13, 2015 at 15:52:52
Specs: Windows 7
I dont know what model mine is but it was working perfectly yesterday, and when I opened it up today, it had a "system error" and had to restart (it's been doing it a lot lately). It says its playing sound and the volume bar will move and all, but it won't let me mute it. also, it won't let me call or video chat on skype. Skype keeps saying there's "playback error", so... HELP. PLEASE!!! Thank you!!!

Go to Control Panel Device Manager and let us know if any errors are showing in "Sound, video and game controllers". If you expand that out it usually shows errors as yellow icons.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

"I dont know what model"

Flip it over & look at the label. Then go to the Asus site, find your model, download & re-install the audio drivers.

Sorry, my mistake, I meant "Device Manager" not Control Panel (have changed it).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
