Specs: not sure
It says your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart for you. And it stays on that screen. It also says "If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.
I researched came up with no valuable info.
now it says same thing but at bottom BAD_POOL_HEADER

Long shot but easy to try and sometime unsticks things:
Turn off and remove power cord. Take out main battery and while it is out hold the Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds.

Assuming that doesn't help let us know if it will start in Safe Mode:
http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answer...
If so we can go from there.

Also let us know the first set of numbers which show against the error message as well as any file that happens to be mentioned.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

There are many possibilities, hardware problems being most likely.

It would be worth running a RAM check, which is a frequent reason for BAD_POOL_HEADER:

You would have to download this onto a flash drive using another computer then start the faulty computer with the flash drive inserted.

EDIT:
Did you do the first part of my previous reply, removing battery etc? This action discharges the motherboard components.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Please raise a new post of your own (which is always best) - this is a different problem. It will put your question to the top of the pile and avoids confusion about which question people are answering.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
