how do i boot my laptop saying operating system not found

Specs: Windows 8, Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270/ 1.60GHz/1024Mbl
I installed an application called tune up utility to my Sam-sung NC10 ,and on switching it on, it now showed a black screen .I hit the F4 for recovery and its saying operating system not found try disconnecting hard drive, when I press any key on the keyboard its producing a buzzing sound. . On purchase the operating system that was there was windows XP which was then upgraded to windows 8.

You should not have used the Tune Up software. It can screw up your Windows installation.

You will have to re-install Windows now.

For the future avoid ALL magic tune-up software and computer fixers. This sort of outcome is not new, they often mess up more than they fix and many are scams too.

If you have some issue with a computer then approach a reputable forum rather than going for these.

was it a legal upgrade to Win 8?
If it wasn't the operating system was probably tainted at the time of install. I'm sure the operating system has nothing to do with the buzzing of the keyboard...did you or someone drop the unit....if so, it could have damaged the motherboard.
