Help my Windows 8 Acer keeps shutting off

Windows 8 / ACER
February 10, 2015 at 13:39:25
Specs: Windows 8 , 16
I turn on my laptop then it says there's a problem with your computer then shuts down I can't find any video or suggestions that's right for the problem. I want to factory reset or anything that helps without losing any files.
Sorry about my message up I don't know how much ram I have I know I have 16 rams though.

Factory Restore "does" lose everything (back to the state when bought). 16 RAMs has no meaning - not sure what it means.

Go into Safe Mode like this:

Note that there is a refresh option.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Read your manual, it will tell you what key to press during boot.

This is not your model but I would expect the procedure for entering BIOS to be similar:
http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/8116...
(look at all the links on there).

One simple thing you could try is discharging the motherboard like this:
Turn off laptop and disconnect from power supply. Remove the main battery then hold the Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds. Reassemble and see if it has helped. At odd times it has been known to "unstick" computers.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
