You don't say which browser you are using (though maybe Google is implied in the title). For most browsers to change your home page you go to the home page you want and then in settings tell the browser to use it. I use Internet Explorer as my browser but with Google as my home page, so the two are not necessarily the same. See this which covers various combinations:

However, most unwanted home page changes are due to the activities of Malware. This free program is good at removing this sort of thing:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(use only the blue download button near top).
You have to download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run the Scan. You then have options to remove whatever it shows under each heading in the table below, although it is usually safe to run the Clean.

Keep the log in case you need further assistance.

After running the program file you might then have to set up your home page once more.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks Derek.
That probably seems obvious to experts - but not to us!

Thanks. Keep an eye on how the computer behaves though because there could still be malware about. Come back if you feel at all unsure.

As a minimum I would be inclined to now run MalwareBytes:
http://filehippo.com/download_malwa...
(green Download button top right - not anything else on the page)
Run the program but before doing the scan go to "Settings > Detection and Protection" and put a checkmark in "Scan for rootkits". Again keep the log in case needed.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
