Solved fix start up lock after power lose during windows 8 upgrade

Specs: Linux
After power lose I have no access to anything safe mode, repair , absolutely nothing it tries to boot 8 but freezes then tries to boot again over and over

Restore to "out of the box" state with Factory Recovery.

Method for running Factory Recovery depends on make & model of your computer. Refer to the manufacturer's user manual or visit their website and go to the "Support" section.

Note that Factory Recovery will erase all data from the Windows partition on the hard drive.

If you burn a Live Linux disk like Puppy Linux on another computer and then boot to that (do not install), you will have access to the hard drive and your files. Save these to an external drive for safe keeping before proceeding with any restore.
