Firefox goes not responding for a few seconds

April 20, 2020 at 11:18:28
Specs: Windows 8.1 32-bit, Core 2 6600 2.4 GHz/4 GB DDR2
If I have opened ms excel and onenote and firefox. Firefox has 2 or 3 tabs, in which gmail, some google search and youtube playing video. Firefox goes not responding for a few seconds, sometimes it takes more than 10 seconds. But it is in not mandatory all i mentioned before. Like I have one google tab and another one has (Ask question) and it goes not responding.
I have installed
BitDefender Total Security
Photoshop CS6
AutoCAD 2011
Office 2016
Foxit PhantomPDF
GOM Player
Firefox 75
O&O Disk Defrag
MS Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010 redistributeable
Malwarebytes Antimalware (I was facing some issues, so I installed and started scan and then cleaned, While BitDefender TS didn't find vulnerability)
Glary Utilities Pro (I have installed recently to optimize Firefox but failed to do it)

Firefox has add-ons, IDM integration, Save Page as PDF
What could be the reason?
I need to install more add-ons. Please help.

Sometimes it shows error like stop script or continue
and some times a yellow bar shows below the address bar showing "A webpage is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do?" stop it - wait

I see several things I would never install - IDM, Firemin, SnailDriver, O&O, Glary. I'm not saying they're the problem, but I see no need for any of them. Try dumping IDM & Firemin, see if that helps. You can always reinstall.

I occasionally see "A webpage is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do?" when using Firefox - I always select Stop it & I'm able to continue doing whatever I was doing.

Question(s) for you, why are you running a 32-bit OS? And why not Win10? It's still available for free.

I have way, way more than that installed.

Check the settings in all your programs, make sure they are not running in the background, such as auto update or startup & using your resources.

Run Windows Disk cleanup.

If still having a problem, temporarily disable BitDefender.

If you have Flash Player installed, set in Firefox "ask before using" for flash player.
Install and run these programs:
Remove all they find and post back the logs here (copy/paste) in separate replies. Run the first one first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
