Computer always hangs AFTER finishing a gaming session??

Specs: Windows 8.1
I just bought a Lenovo Y50-70 laptop and was playing GTA V on it. I usually play on it for 2-3 hours at a time. The game works like a charm but as soon as I exit to desktop, within 2-3 seconds, the computer hangs and I have to restart by long pressing the power button. It then takes up 2 minutes to boot and the disk usage is constantly at 100%....what do I do?

The disk usage may be the clue here.
Uninstall programs that you do not use. Most system mfg's include programs that either they think you need or are being paid to include by other vendors.
Open Task Manager and look for what program(s) are using too much disk. Google them if you do not recognize them. If they are not needed, uninstall them. If they are needed sometimes but not all of the time, open the program and see if you can set it not to launch with Windows but only when you start it deliberately.
Scan your system with Malwarebytes Free Version to see if there is any malware on your system, remove all it finds. Make sure you uncheck the "Free Trial" when installing or you will not get the free version, but a trial version of the 'pro' or pay for version.
Post back results and a log from Malwarebytes if it finds anything.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
