I have a new computer and I am trying to adjust my preferences, like time zone, file history (saving), power options, user account... and they all appear (stacked) on my bottom taskbar. When I hover over it, they show up as small boxes 2"x2" approx. but I cant get them to open up full size. I click on the small boxes and nothing happens. I've right and left click on my mouse and no change. please give me tips. message edited by MtKat
Have you restarted the computer? Try Alt-Tab to scroll through the open items. Releasing the keys on the highlighted item should open it.
thanks for the "try." neither worked. The "alt" thing showed the files, but they still didnt open. ... Right now it is mainly "save file history" that I've been trying to get to work. ( I do have a USB stick inserted to put the history on ) thanks
What happens with/in Safe-mode?
I think I figured it out.
I plugged in both cords, vga and dvi...so I think it thought I had
two monitors???
I am still checking it out, but I think it is ok now.
Then you have the ability to switch between input 1 and input 2 on your monitor.
