Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.793 GHz / 503 MB
how to permanently enable bit defender icon in the system tray ? I need to see the icon in the bottom right corner for the system tray.

why are we not getting email notifications anymore after the upgrade ?

Check the options/settings within bit defender, you should see something like 'Start with Windows' or 'Start automatically'

i dont use bit defender so am not sure how it is worded but it should be set to launch with Windows by default, are you sure the the icon isnt being 'hidden'?

Go to:

Control Panel
Taskbar and Start Menu
Taskbar Tab
Click 'Customize' in the notification area section
Tick/Check the 'Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar

That will unhide all the icons
