cannot shrink volume in new sony vaio laptop running W8

Specs: Windows8
sir i am buying new sony vaio laptop using operating system are windows8, my laptop HDD capacity are 500gb iam created partition in c drive volume are false to edit 218 gb in c drive , i am need to change the volume to c drive in 100gb cannot shrink disk management. how to solve this problum ? please help me sir , all types of best solution for my laptop( never corrupted OS and software)

It would be nice if you had given the model designation of your laptop. Or is it only Sony Vaio ?

Anyway, if you an UEFI motherboard and Windows 8 is installed that way, then it is not easy to make changes in hardware. You must first disable the protection in BIOS and make the changes. Afterwards you must reenable that protection.

So I suggest you look into the documentation that shaould have come with your purchase of the laptop or online documents.
