Make and model of laptop might be useful.

A long shot, have you by any chance got some form of Internet Security program on-board - these are known to conflict.

Another possibility is that the error message references a bogus file. Download and run this freebie:
http://filehippo.com/download_malwa...
(green button top right).
During install uncheck the trial version - the free one is quite good enough.
If it finds anything please copy/paste the log on here.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Download Security Check by screen317 from one of the following links and save it onto your Desktop. If your default download location is not the Desktop, drag it out of it's location onto the Desktop.
http://screen317.spywareinfoforum.o...
http://screen317.changelog.fr/Secur...
Please restart the computer before running this security check..
* Double click SecurityCheck.exe. If you run Windows Vista or 7/8, right click and choose 'Run as Administrator'.
o If you are asked by Windows to run this program or not, please click 'Yes' or 'Run'.
o When you see a console window, press any key to continue scanning.
o Wait while it scans.
o If your firewall alerts you of Security Check, please press 'Allow' or similar.
* A Notepad document should open automatically after scan is completed. It will be called checkup.txt; Please Copy and Paste the contents into your reply.
Note: If a security program requests permission from dig.exe to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

Old drivers can cause Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL NDIS.sys. Old drivers are usually not supposed to run on latest machines. There happen compatibility problems with them. Remove all the old drivers.

Click the Start button.
The Start Screen appears.
Click and focus on the Search box. (Right hand side of the screen)
Type “Device Manager” (without quotes). Click the Settings icon.
Open Device Manager from the Search Results.
Device Manager opens.
Expand top category. Right click old drivers, select “Uninstall” option. This shall fix Driver IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL Windows 8.

Re #3

Uninstall from "Device Manger" can sometimes help if you know what driver is causing the issue. This uninstall does not remove the systems own driver which remains in the place from where the uninstalled software is derived. If a driver shows a yellow error mark in Device Manager then it would be suspect. Note that you have to restart computer afterwards for the computer to re-assemble the software from its driver files.

Avoid the magic fix program on the website given unless someone can vouch for it - it might do more harm than good.

You do not appear to be the original poster on this thread, yet have responded to a request to Hariom. We do not know what issue you are having or even what operating system you are using. This post was first raised in November 2014 so few helpers will even see it now

You need to raise a new post of your own with all the necessary details.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
