I use google as my home page but when I click to open another tab I get a blank page not google. I have to click on the home button to get Google up again.

I have been into the options menu & clicked on Tabs & changed “When a new tab is opened, open:” using the drop down menu to “your first home page” then clicked on apply.

This works until I close IE 11, then it reverts to a blank page. What am I missing or doing wrong?

that worked while my pc was on but reverted to blank page on re-booting! It was not the Google home page anyway.

There is no point in having the series of thumbnails on screen & having to choose Google when it is just as easy to keep the blank page & click on the Home page button - that is no advantage.

As stated I want to click on the tab & get Google home page each time. The problem is that it disappears when I re-boot. Clivking on apply only holds while my PC is on - for some reason it won't hold that status.
