You write "... to run the above disks..."

What are those above disks you want to run ?

You can download PowerDVD13 from Cyberlink to play your "above disks" for 30 days.

Please read shareware limitations for shareware playback before downloading.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. I did try with this as a free trial and it could not detect the BD and 3D BD disks. Mine is Win 8 OS. System requirement doesn't tell us about Win 8. Does it support? Thanks.

Yes, it does.

I have PowerDVD12, the previous version, on Windows 8 and it works perfectly. PowerDVD version 13 is specifically developed for Windows 8.

What gfx card do you have ?

I especially told you to read shareware limitations. If you do not have gfx card that supports hardware acceleration, you cannot play BD disks.

Full paid version do not have this limitation.

If you visited the Cyberlink web page, you would see the System Requirements tab besides Download Information tab. Clicking the System Requirements tab will take you there.

Here is a summary.

Hardware Support for Blu-rayâ„¢ 3D and TrueTheaterâ„¢ 3D:

Integrated Graphics: 2nd generation Intel Core processors or above(Intel HD Graphic (Intel Core i5))

Check your hardware spec.

Hope this helps.
