You can download the driver from your PC manufacturer's website if it's a brand-name PC (eg Packard Bell, Acer etc), or from the motherboard manufacturer's website if the PC has no brand-name (ie home-built or built-to-order).

However, depending on what version of Windows that PC was running before you upgraded to Win8, they may not have a compatible driver for Windows 8 (Windows 7 drivers may work on Windows 8, but that cannot be guaranteed).

You should also be aware that Windows 8 is only a "Consumer Preview", it is not yet ready for final release and will therefore likely have some bugs or issues yet to be fixed.
Consequently, you should only install on a spare PC, not on your main PC which you can't do without if Windows 8 causes problems on it.

Finally, please re-check your board model as I can find no reference to an Intel d956g board on Intel's website (not even in discontinued products) or on Google Search. It seems there is no such model.
