Adobe PDF file is damaged. How can it be fixed

Specs: Windows 8, 4GB
One of our staff created a PDF file and for some reason it is damaged. I tried to open it with Adobe Acrobat Pro, but no luck. It is a VERY important manual. Any help would be appreciated.

If the manual is for a piece of equipment you can download it again from the manufacturer's website.

If it's an "in house" compiled manual (eg training etc) that is damaged, there's a free online repair utility here: http://www.pdfaid.com/repair-pdf-fi...

if that doesn't work, there are many more PDF repair softwares that you will find with a search engine, for example this is what Google Search found:

https://www.google.com/search?q=rep...

Be aware that many of them you have to pay for.

If you had used a search engine in the first place, there would have been no need for you to submit your post.

Does this file open on any other computer? If not then there is no guarantee it can be fixed - it just depends on how corrupted it is. See #1 above.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
