You don't. You block MAC addresses.

Every computer has a unique MAC address it is like the VIN in your car. You can get your MAC by running the following command IPCONFIG /ALL. There is a MAC for every network card in your computer including the Wireless one. Jot down your Wireless Cards MAC.

Then go into your Routers Configuration Page and turn on MAC filtering. Set it so that it only allows MACs from the ones in your list. Then add your MAC to the list.

There are ways around this with Aircrack and MAC spoofing but I am guessing she does not know how to do this. If she does just change your wireless encryption to WPA2 with a strong password.

Who is the maker of your Wireless Router? Linksys, Netgear or who? With this we may be able to give you exact instruction on how to configure it.

If your router support QoS (quality of Service), you can configure your router to control bandwidth based on application, protocol, port, IP or Mac address, etc. Hope this helps.
