Specs: Windows 7
I have created a shortcut and the problem is when I move it, the linked path is changed and I don't know how to fix that.

for example, consider I have created a folder E:\ which contains

Now I want to create a shortcut from E:\project\bin\setup.exe and place it to E:\project\install.lnk

In my local computer computer it works fine, but when write the project folder it on the CD, the install.lnk seeks E:\project\bin\setup which is not available.

since it is on the cd (assume the cd drive is J:) it must auto link J:\install.lnk to J:\bin\setup.exe
How can I fix that. The path is hardlinked. tahnks

Right click "install.lnk" and select properties.
Search for the path of target and change the driveletter you desire and confirm.

But remember the applied driveletter will only work on your computer and not on others.
Others usually use D: or E: as driveletters for their ODD's.
