Windows Power Service not working on my PC

Hello. I'm trying to fix an audio issue with my father's PC. The audio service group on his computer got disabled a while ago and we're trying to turn it back on using Servics.msc

The audio group for for the Windows Audio service is Multimedia Class Scheduler, Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder. I was able to get all but Windows Audio Endpoint Builder to run.

I searched on the net for a bit and I found out the Power service (C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k DcomLaunch) needs to be turned on before I can enable that, but when I tried to start the Power service, it keeps saying the data is invaild.

How do I fix this?

Thank you.

Might look in bios for acpi settings. May need to reload the OS to correct acpi. May be that the power service is only for laptops too. Look that up to be sure.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
