Windows Media Center Setup

Specs: Win 7
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit which I installed recently
from an OEM disk, on a computer I assembled. I also installed SP-1
from disk.

I have installed Windows 7 previously, and used Windows Media
Center. I remember going through a setup process. Apparently I
hadn't started WMC after the most recent install until just now,
because a setup process started. However, it was different from the
setup I remember. Did SP-1 install a new WMC setup? Did SP-1
install a newer version of WMC?

In particular, the new setup asked for my username and password
to access the Internet. I don't want WMC to be able to access the
Internet, so I left the textboxes empty and clicked "Next". I went to
the next screen okay, but the setup program wanted to connect to
the Internet at that point, and there was no option to continue the
setup without connecting.

What does Windows Media Center Setup do (or try to do) when it
connects? Is there any way I can set it up without connecting?
