Windows Live Mail

Specs: Windows 7
I cannot log into Windows Live Messenger or Windows Live Mail even though I am connected to the internet. All of the computers in my home are affected. I have tried changing the proxy and firewall settings as suggested by Microsoft. Still no mail. Strangly though, I can log on to my account and access my contacts in Windows Live, but not my mailbox???? Any thoughts as to what to do?

When did this problem start occuring? Was there any changes before it happened? What router are you using?

Sorry to answer a question with a question (or a series of them), but this will make it a lot easier to help and find out what is wrong!

Thank you for your response. We uplugged everything and started it up again and we were then able to access our hotmail.
