Solved Windows Laptop shuts down immediately after booting

Computer shuts down 90 seconds after booting and writes on a blue screen : a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer ...
DELL windows vista, RAM 4.0, 64 bit intel pentium dual-core. Norton internet security antivirus

And will it manage to boot into safe-mode at least?

Also what is exact model Dell laptop involved?

@ Derek, trvlr you are pleasant friends; I went to safe mode and I did system restore (F8 immediately after I switched on computer and then system restore from start button). @ Derek I always appreciate ur timely eagerness to help. @ trvlr thank u
