windows force start up repair, want safe mode

Ultimate Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit
July 29, 2010 at 23:26:55
Specs: Windows 7, E8400, 4GB
I installed a new driver, but after reboot i get bsod at windows boot.
i know exactly what to do, if i can get into safe mode
problem is, stupid windows now force me to choose either Start up repair, or start normally
F8 won't bring me to safe mode option screen

start up repair is freaking useless, it couldn't repair my simple problem, all i need is for myself to enter safe mode

is there a way to get safe mode back? i can't edit any of the options in windows because i can't get into windows!

Try F5 instead of F8 - F8 is often used as a boot selector on some systems - no reason why it shouldn't work otherwise.

doesn't work
tried tapping F8 or F5, no go
tried holding F8 or F5, no go

stupid ass windows

for the record, i have previously set my OS boot selecting screen to 0 seconds....
if that's the problem, how do i change it back, without being able to load into windows?
