Windows doesn't start on my nb300

Specs: Windows 7
I just purchased my nb300 in Jan, it hasn't worked for the last two months. It powers up you see the screen with toshiba on it then it goes to the black screen with the white blinking cursor on the top left corner. I live in hawaii and I'd have to ship it to toshiba in new york. Someone please help

I would suggest that you check again, there should be an authorized repair center somewhere in Hawaii. It is under warranty and they should fix it or replace it.
The problem could be hardware related like a bad hard drive or memory card or it could be software related such as an infection or otherwise corrupt system files.
You can try to boot to a disk you make with Memtest86 on it and test your memory sticks.
You can do the same with a hard drive utility you can download from the hard drive manufacturer's website.
You can try a start up repair form a Windows repair disk if you made one when it was working (you can make one on another Windows 7 machine of the same type (32bit or 64bit)).
You can try a factory restore from your recovery partition (see manual) that will wipe your hard drive and return it to the as-shipped condition (you will lose anything on the hard drive you saved though).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
