new HDD
OS from image



this operation returned because the timeout period expired

errror code 0x800705b4

Turn Defender off & install MSE.

What does your post have to do with Windows Defender? If you have an anti-virus program installed, I believe Defender is automatically disabled.

If you mean Microsoft Security Essentials maybe just uninstalling it and re-installing it from a new download will do the trick.
