Hey All -
Having an issue with Internet Explorer 8 - when I first boot up, I can open as many tabs in IE as I want. After a couple hours, I can only open up two or three. Clicking on the new tab button, or keying control t, or trying an external mouse all yield the same result. I have tried cleaning cookies, resetting defaults on the "tabbed browsing" page, removing some of the more recent windows updates, all to no avail. I have not done a windows system restore only because I cannot recall when this started, and I don't keep images longer than two or three weeks anyway, so that probably wouldn't help. Any ideas?

Hi Aaron,

I'd say doing a System Restore cannot hurt - even if it's just back 2 or 3 weeks. Give it a try. A few other things to try are running your anti-virus and malware removal tools (just in case). Also, try opening IE8 in No Add-on Mode. To do so go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

Hope this helps!
