Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
I have an Acer Aspire M5641. It works well with vista, but when I tried windows 7 it won't boot up. After the installation, it rebooted and when it was loading it just showed a black screen. I waited, but nothing happened. Tried this several times, still the same result. Any help?

did you run the win 7 compatability test, it sounds like you have some kind of driver issue, remove all peripherals, and any bits and pieces you can so you have the most basic machine, see if it boots,

Something I left out. I think there is a problem with the sataraid driver. It's on an installation disk and the guy who sold it to me told me to install it before installation. While installing vista it prompted to install a missing driver, but while installing windows 7, nothing. It just went through the installation. Any ideas?

then try i this way:
if you have any Win 7 install CD, then pls enter BIOS and set up the boot order from CD ROM, and then restart your PC.

after it loaded all the drivers, pls go the the command mode from when you see some options of operation, and enter below commands:
bootsect /nt60 c: *** C: is what your win 7 system located at, then restard your pc and change your boot order from BIOS, and take your installation CD out from CD ROM.

i have experienced many times for this problem after i tried those win7 loarder unsucessfully.
