Specs: windows 7
I have recently purchased a laptop that came with a mobile phone contract. Since I have owned it I hav been having issues with it, mainly with windows 7 the operating system. A small pop up kept creeping up saying that windows wasn't genuine get genuine now. Seeing how this was a ligitimet version of windows already installed on the lap top I thought this was nothing more than a small error, so I ignored it. The laptop came with all the system disk and harware disk for windows 7 so I installed it again only to find the same problem. As they was nothing more I could do I merly left it as it was only a small pop up and wasn't much of an inconvienience. Then I shut my system down. I tried to log onto it the next day only to find out that windows had blocked my account and wont let me log on, it just says "your account has been disabled please contact your system administrator". I find this very frustrating and upsetting as my version is genuine. What can I do to log back on to my system hasel free with contacting microsoft to get nothing but there automated services at £5 a minuet. ?

You have 2 options:

1. Contact the company you purchased the computer from.
2. Contact Microsoft.

It would be contrary to forum rules to offer technical advice on a system that appears to be a non-genuine version of Windows.

Try typing in the product key located on the COA on the bottom
of the computer. To change the product key: Right click on
"Computer" and click "Properties". Then at the bottom click on
change product key.

Otherwise contact the manufacturer of your computer.
