try f8 and go into safe mode, if not get your repair cd, http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/windo... and boot with cd, try, last known good config/system restore/repair/ it sounds like an update may have gone wrong..maybe a video driver if your curser is very big.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Did you just upgrade from a different operating system? If so, this is a very important bit of information you left out. If sounds like you need Windows 7 drivers for your system. You may be able to do this in Safe mode with networking if you can get there. If you have been trying to run for a while without updating the drivers, you may have missed the easy time to do it right after the upgrade/install.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
