windows 7 user admin account damaged

Specs: Windows 7
windows 7 user admin account damaged and only have the user with limited rights left. running windows 7 home premium x64. need to fix current account or create new admin account. how can that be done when admin account damaged.

Might be able to boot to the dvd and see if the repair tools would work.

Boot to Safe Mode and use one of the restore options there. System Restore to a previous setting should do it providing you have system restore turned on.

When you do get the computer working again create a system restore disk. Takes about fifteen minutes and can save you hours of work when something goes wrong.

To create new admin user account, log in to the default "Administrator" account which was set up by default when Windows 7 was installed.

hey guys....its a password issue....we have no idea if it is a stolen laptop or PC
