windows 7 updates offline

Specs: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, 2 GHz / 2047 MB
hello I fix a lot of computers and have done a quick search but could not find what i was looking for.

anyway as windows 7 updates are approaching 200mb now and I do a lot of updates for people does anyone know if i can download them away from microsoft site to a pendrive
I do know that i still will have to check windows update for new ones but it will save time and download limits

I am not sure if this helps, but microsoft are planning on releasing windows 7 service pack 1 soon, there is already a release candidate ready

Hopefully this will include most of the updates created so far, and will save having to download all of the updates again

Other than that, microsoft do offer the updates for individual download, you just need to research the hotfix number (the number by the side of each update, looks like "KBXXX") but this would take ages

I will go have another look because you could do this with xp etc and i even had a slipstreamed xp but not sure about windows 7 (space on disc etc)

You have to know the KB numbers and ensure you select the right ones.
Might be worth using once you have the SP.

I save my XP update files from here because I want to keep it forever LOL.
