Windows is the operating system that drives your computer and software. Uninstalling it will mean that you will be unable to use your PC. Unless of course you install another operating system.

The OS would hve been installed by whoever you bought the PC from.

to 'uninstall' this you will need to format the disc.

can you explain why you want to uninstall this and that you are aware that if you do remove this without replacing with another OS, you will be unable to use the machine?

Hi rsmani,

Let us know the Operating System you want to install on your system instead of Windows 7 Ultimate.

Is it that you want a different edition of Windows 7(Home, Professional, Enterprise etc) or you want a different operating system?

Thanks & Regards

Am I correct that you had a system that came with Windows Home Premium OEM and you thought you could upgrade without purchasing the upgrade from MS or a reputable store. Now you have a non-legal version and you just want to get it back to normal.

If this is true, your system probably came with a recovery partition that can return your system to the same as it was shipped from the factory. Understand that this will return the system to the same as it was shipped as, including wiping everything else from the drive. If you want to proceed with this, back up your personal files and make sure that you have all of your program installers to reinstall everything else. The first thing you need to do right after the factory restore is catch up on Windows Updates which can take quite a while and you may need to run it more than once. When that is done, install your antivirus program, restore your back up, and then install anything else you might need. You can find the method to launch your Factory Restore by looking online for your manual or tell us the exact make & model and we may be able to help you from there.
Tell us more and we can help better. We have been having trouble with our crystal balls lately and have trouble figuring things like that without your help. Please post all details (joking aside).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
