If you've installed Windows it will have wiped everything off the hard drive, including Microsoft Office.

Will I be able to use the product key for office home and student 2010?

I don't understand your question. When you buy Office, you get a new product key with it.

Reboot just means shutting down and powering up again. What exactly has been done, upgrade from another operating system, factory restore, or whatever? Let us have all the gory details please so that we can best help you.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
