windows 7 : the decompression of s failed. th

Specs: Windows 7, ie quadri/core// 4 giga ram
hi, i have bought a new computer with windows 7( 64 bit: 28 days try demo before i purchase it). I am trying to install omega trade station 2000( the installa program is a .exe file), but I get this message as soon as the installation begins: the decompression of %s failed. there may not be enough free disk space available in the temp directory.
I have tried windows 7 compatibility old program services , I mean that service that allows you to install old program , but I always get the same message
"the decompression of %s failed. there may not be enough free disk space available in the temp directory". it would be really very kind from all of you if some body can help me.

try decompressing onto the d;drive if you have one, although it sounds like a problem with the actual zip file, try another copy,
if your machine is new, maybe it only has a small ssd drive for the main os, so use a usb stick to decompress the program too.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
