Windows 7 Struggleing to Install Updates

Specs: Windows 7 64 bit, 2.66 GHz / 6 GB
9/10 when i load windows it is telling me that it is configuring Updates but after 5 minutes it is still Configuring Updates then after a few minutes later it says failed to configure updates and reverts me back before it installed them then i get into windows and looking at the update History it has Tried but failed on numerous occasions to do so, I have tried to download the said Updates Manually and when i run them it tells me they are already installed . the update error codes are


the rest of the updates prior to them have installed fine i never imagined i would have this problem with windows 7 how can i resolve this MS probably going charge me solve this.

Might be a bug in the update process.

I'd log on as admin then go to the control panel update and try it.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Uninstall any updates that are questionable or not working properly. Then run a manual Windows update and choose SP1 only and run that. If SP1 install fine, rerun the Windows update manually (many updates may no longer be needed) and do the rest (maybe a few at a time). If SP1 does not install, you may need to do a repair of Windows 7.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
