Windows 7 Startup Repair

Specs: Windows 7, 8gb
I uninstalled a 'WinRAR' last night on my friends computer, but the next day when i tried to boot the computer it wouldn't startup and did 'Startup Repair.' I selected yes to complete a system restore, will it of put WinRAR back on?

It may have but you can easily check for yourself. Look in "Program Files" for a folder named Winrar. If you open it it should contain all the files necessary for it to operate. If the folder does not exist then you have lost the install.

Did the computer boot properly after the restore?
