Specs: Windows 7
I have a Sony UPX-C200 ID photo camera and printer. I would like to have the utility software that a had on my Windows xp to function on my new Windows 7. It is just to save the photos on to my computer, printing is done directly by the system. For the moment I use the direct USB link, but the photos comes out with the same numbers every time, making it impossible to keep them in the same folder. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance - Jesper.

According to Sony, the software supplied with the UPX-C200 is not compatible with windows 7, nor do they have a compatible version available. It appears they don't intend to release a Windows 7 version at all for that model which is now discontinued.

I can't understand why all the pics are always being transferred with the same file number, unless they are in fact the same pics you transferred earlier and you are forgetting to delete them from the camera before you transfer the next batch.

After transferring pics (preferrably to two different drives for safety) you are supposed to delete those pics from the camera or memory card. If you don't, the same pics (and same pic numbers obviously) will keep transferring every time!

Thanks pip22, but I do delete all photos after every transfer.
The camera restarts the counting from 000 every time, and I see no option in the menus to change this (the way it is possible on any normal digital camera).

you could try running the xp program in compatability mode..

or once you have transfered the pics select them all and then rename.ex pics of me, this will then give all those pics name 'pics of me #

deleting the files on the cam/memory card will always result in the next set of pics having the same count/numbers.

or just use different folders..

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
