Specs: Windows 64, 4.00 gb
When the desktop loads the systems states that it is logging off. I have to do a system restore at least 3 times before it responds. Have not added any new hardware or software

First, you can try an older restore point to make sure that the most recent one is not corrupted.
Second, if multiple restore points does not fix it the first try, you may have a hardware issue, specifically, a bad memory stick or a problem with your hard drive.
Test your memory with a bootable CD that you burn with an ISO image of Memtest. Just boot to it and let it run through all tests. No errors are acceptable.
Test your hard drive with your hard drive mfg's utility (also a bootable CD). Run the Longest test option. Minor errors will be repaired but too many or more major ones will be reason to replace the drive before it really becomes a problem.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

When it is working for a while, do a quick check for viruses using this free program:

If it finds nothing you are probably OK but if it finds anything worrying you might need further assistance.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
