Windows 7 home premium 32-bit has some problems with my Onetouch 9420 USB scanner.
Although the scanner is detected and installed, I still can not scan images. What is the proper way to fix this?

Try their troubleshooter.
Is it new, and hasn’t worked from the day you installed it?
Windows 7 shows the scanner, but does nothing when you tell it to scan.
I tested the scanner on windows XP and it appears to work with the older OS.
Are you reading the above posts, if so, answer all suggestions please.
Since there are no Win7 drivers listed, my guess is the scanner isn't supported.
try xp drivers in compatibilty mode. Davidw
You may try Vuescan, a shareware program for scanners, that are not supported by current windows versions.
None of that stuff works.
Guess I'll grab another old scanner. Thanks for all the ideas.
.
Perhaps install XP inside win-7 in a VM (Virtual Machine), and use scanner that way? message edited by trvlr
"Guess I'll grab another old scanner" That's the problem, you have an old scanner. Find one that's compatible with Win7.
