Windows 7 says Linux Server is Full

Specs: Windows 7 64
I have a buffalo station 1 tb server.
Sometimes when I copy the contents of a CD/DVD to it windows 7 pops up with a message saying there is no space.
I have plenty of space./

I guess, the Buffalo station drive is formated with FAT32 and you try to copy files bigger than 4 GB to the drive.
In that case, you get such a message.

FAT32 max file size is 4 GB.
If you need to store files greater than 4 GB to that drive, you have to use NTFS file system.

Might be a bug in the samba setup. I'd use ftp instead.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

In total the files add up to 4gb but no individual file is over 20mb.

thats a thought,
I am trying a batch file with robocopy. I will check to see if that works better. It doesn't happen every time. Just seems to happen with certain clients. Could it have to do with how they are burning DVDs?

Don't see how the dvd has anything to do with a NAS.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
