Windows 7 read wrong amount ram

Ultimate Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit

Specs: Windows 7, E8400, 4GB
I've been running the same setup for more than a years no, I have 4gb (4 stick 1024) installed, bios read 4gb, cpuz reads 4gb, windows 7 32-bit used to read 3gb something (i understand 32-bit tops at 4 with some reserved), which was fine.

started couple weeks ago I noticed some system instability with random freezes, which i realized was caused by my Bios somehow got reset, resulting in ram timing setting setting back to auto.
anyways, I loaded up my saved profile in bios and all is working as before.
but now I also noticed that Windows is reading only 2gb ram (i haven't looked lately so i don't know it's been like this for how long).
i double checked bios, and cpuz, everything is telling me 4gb but Windows, even task manager and resource monitor are only reading 2.

I've already checked advance options in msconfig, and max memory setting is unchecked, so problem isn't there.

anyone got any idea what's going on?

I know this doesn't answer your question, but if it shows correctly with your other programs, don't worry about it.
