Specs: Windows 7
PowerPoint 2003 on my Windows 7 system frequently shuts down. When PowerPoint restarts, I cannot recover the AutoRecover version. I've wasted hours of work since it happens all the time. Can anyone help?

Try putting in your MS Office install disk and do a repair.
If you still get frequent crashes, check your system's RAM, a bad memory stick can cause freezing problems, and depending on where on the stick is bad, you may only begin having trouble when using a memory intensive program. Use Memtest to evaluate your RAM sticks, if you get errors, retry with one stick at a time to find the bad one. Replace as needed.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
