Solved Windows 7 not genuine and no updates

February 13, 2014 at 06:17:06
Specs: Windows 7, Intel 2.26 duo/4gb ram
I will be installing a larger HDD on a Toshiba laptop that came with vista, and then a free upgrade from Toshiba to Win7.There is a message that Win7 is not genuine and I haven't been getting the updates for it,so is it better to buy a Windows 7(which one OEM or FULL)and install it fresh or will there be motherboard issues.I'd like to keep this laptop for awhile since it'll replace my desktop. This was a college pc for a family member and it is on it's 3rd HDD but so far so good.Thank you for any help
