Windows 7 not appearing in the boot manager

Microsoft Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

Specs: Windows 7
So i recently formated my old hard drive with windows vista on it(from the vista install disk). But when i restart and try to go to load into windows 7. It says bootmgr is missing! Im not to much into computers so i need help! What did i do!

Its like the operating system doesnt exist anymore, any help?

Pop your Windows 7 disc in your DVD drive & run fixboot & fixmbr & reboot.

I would but now it seems that my computer wont read the windows 7 disk (my 1st boot option is my dvddrive). But it will read it while its launching is there any way to fix this?

What Sabertooth meant was that you actually need to boot from your Windows 7 disk to run setup and choose the repair option as stated.
